With 280k followers on Instagram, Jena Sims, the newest mom in the town, is often seen creating delightful content. She is an active Instagram user who loves to give tiny details about her life to her Instagram family. Beyond her glamorous persona, the 34-year-old beauty now proudly wears the badge of motherhood, frequently reminiscing about her pregnancy days.
Recently, in collaboration with the Swim Influence Network, the Swim Search finalist took the opportunity to share her experience of the memorable day she gave birth to her son. While she was having a get-ready with-me session, she spoke about her pregnancy-related problems.
Jena Sims gave insights into her birth story

The nonprofit CEO and fashion designer welcomed her baby boy Crew on July 27, six weeks before her due date. Brooks Koepka returned home after four weeks of golf tournaments abroad, and the couple met with their birth doula for the first time when his wife began feeling contractions.
By 3 PM Jena started getting contractions. She went on to say, “I didn’t think anything of it because I had felt contractions earlier, but they started getting closer and closer together.” After spending close to two hours at the gym, her spouse, Koepka, finally returned home at 5:46 p.m. Jena Sims heard the sound of her husband entering the house, and at that very moment, her water broke.
They then prepared to embark on an incredible journey of welcoming their child into the world. The Swim Influence Network Instagram account took to the platform to share her video. They wrote, “Swim Search Finalist @Jenamsims gives us an inside look into her birth story during a 10-step get ready with me. 💄.” In the video, fans can see Jena flawlessly applying her makeup while sharing the entire story.

However, after Crew’s birth, he had to be kept in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) due to his premature arrival. This understandably caused the couple to experience a wave of worries. Fortunately, as time went on, things began to fall into place and their concerns started to ease.
Jena Sims struggles to see son in NICU
Witnessing a child in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is an enormous pain for any mother. Sims can empathize with this as her son, Crew, arrived six weeks early and required specialized care in the NICU since he was too weak to leave the hospital. Luckily, Crew is receiving exceptional care and is gradually improving.

Fortunately, throughout her pregnancy, Jena received tremendous support from her husband. Together, they faced and conquered the difficulties that arose, and they are now ready to continue their professional journey while embracing the joys of parenthood.
