One of the most famous players playing both the European and PGA Tours, Rory Mcllroy, the former World no. 1 has been trying to make his game stronger than ever before. He has been working for the same. Rory McIlroy recently shared his workout for achieving stronger legs and hips. The PGA Tour loyalist is using contrast training to achieve the goal.

Rory McIlroy is on his way to getting stronger
The former World No. 1 is working his best to increase his rate of force development to better his game of golf. He recently let his followers in on his workout regimen. He is practicing contrast training with heavy lifts and jumps to improve his strength.

McIlroy is training his legs and hips in order to make them stronger. This plays an important role in enhancing the game for golfers. Rory seems to be super dedicated to finally repeating his back-to-back wins record again.

He had won 3 games in a row in the summer of 2014. Ever since Rory has not repeated this grand winning streak. However, this time, considering how he has been training, history might just repeat itself.
He recently shot his career-low round at Wentworth. Things are definitely seeming to get better for McIlroy in the future. The pace he is working on himself points in the same direction.

McIlroy’s opinion on LIV Golf
Rory McIlroy is a well-known PGA loyalist. So it wasn’t a surprise when Rory thrashed the defectors playing on the DP World Tour. He took a jab at these players not once but twice. McIlroy very bluntly said, “They shouldn’t be here, but again that’s just my opinion.”

He also addressed how the drama and uncertainty posed by the conflict between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour have garnered attention from both followers and now followers of golf.

Rory McIlroy said, “It’s incredibly divisive, and does it bring more eyeballs onto golf? Probably, because people are interested in the soap opera of it all, but that’s not golf. The most interesting thing about LIV is the rumors and who is going and who is not going.”
