Two athletes in particular who have found themselves right in the middle of this limelight include the 6-time major winner Phil Mickelson and his fellow LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau.

While the LIV golfers are getting all geared up for the upcoming LIV Chicago from September 22-24, Bryson DeChambeau has another big reaching to celebrate prior to that. It is his 30th birthday that the golfer celebrated, posting several snippets on his social media handle along with a heartfelt caption.

The golf star could be seen all charged up for his entry into the 30s, referring to the milestone in a light quote of “30 years young.” While the first picture of the golfer showed the car brand ALTO wishing him a happy birthday, the following slides showed his celebrations with his family and friends. The golfer could be seen all smiles in the pictures while opening gifts.

Amidst all the visuals of the party, it was his caption that grabbed major attention. He poured out a heartfelt appreciation for all the “love and support” from his “family, friends, partners, colleagues and fans.” Calling it “one for the books,” the golfer expressed his utmost gratitude to everyone around him for the life he has had till now.

While DeChambeau penned down his thankfulness for his supporters, he is not the only one lucky enough to find such an unwavering to pillar. Even the 6-time major winner Phil Mickelson finds himself surrounded by the never-ending aid of his wife.

Shedding light once again on Lefty’s gambling addiction, last month witnessed Billy Walter come forward with some staggering numbers to report how entangled the golfer was in this web. This further prompted another individual to come forward and unfold his opinion regarding Mickelson’s career.

It was none other than his ex-Ryder Cup captain Lanny Wadkins. Sitting down for an interview with Golf Week, the 73-year-old claimed Phil Mickelson to be one of the most disappointing people in golf. Per the former PGA Championship winner, if not for Mickelson’s golfing career, he would “be gambling in a ditch somewhere.”

However, through an hours-old post, it appears that the 45-time PGA Tour winner is ready to finally address this concern of his. Referring to his addiction as the “darkest” time of his life, Lefty divulged how it was difficult to be present at the moment. This created problems not only for the golfer but also inflicted pain on his close ones.

However, during these uncertain times, the one individual who stood firmly beside the LIV Golf Pro was his wife Amy. Through her commitment, love, and support, she helped Mickelson find his way to recovery. Further, encourages the golfer to want enjoyment in moderation.
