The changes in the world of golf have been pretty evident in these past few years. The golfing landscape has lately seen a dramatic transition in terms of how the golfers play and switch sides. The biggest focus, however, has been the addition of a few new names that have adjusted themselves in this realm of professional golf pretty easily and at a steady speed.

This transition period has seen the coming of a new generation of talents that has brought with it new energy and extraordinary skill sets. There are many new faces to be seen on the greens now, and among these rising stars is Ludvig Aberg, who has particularly stood out in comparison to his contemporaries because of how he has proven his prowess to be beyond his years.

Ludvig Aberg’s journey in the professional world of golf so far has been nothing short of astonishing. Golf writer Micheal McEwan recently brought to light some interesting facts about Aberg.

When we look at Aberg’s contemporaries and compare his performances with theirs, a clear disparity can be seen in their gameplay cadences. For example, if we look at the LIV Golf player David Puig, who switched to professional golf last year in September, his scorecard does not look as impressive as Aberg’s. In his LIV professional golfing career so far, the 21-year-old has played at 16 events in total. And this year he has only 40 points in the LIV standings.

Another LIV player Eugenio Chacarra, whose first professional victory was at the LIV Golf Invitational in Bangkok, also fades in comparison. The 23-year-old has only played in 21 events with the Fireballs GC so far, and in the past two years, the player has accumulated a total of 72 points, with 31 points gained in the ongoing LIV season.

Now, on the other hand, if we look at Aberg, his numbers look phenomenal in comparison. Even though the 23-year-old joined the PGA Tour in May this year, he has already played 11 events on the Tour. McEwan tweeted about Aberg’s gameplay, and just by the look of it, one can tell that Aberg’s stats don’t need backing. They speak for themselves.

As per the tweet, so far, the young Swede has scored 25 rounds in the 60s, with a stroke average of 68.9 and earnings totaling $1.4 million. His worst score has been 73, and his score to par has been -94. In his professional golfing career, this accomplishment sets him apart from all other players in his age group.

Aberg is set apart from the rest by his skills and that validates why he was chosen by Luke Donald for this year’s Ryder Cup in EuropeSince the Ryder Cup, Aberg has been consistent and has not taken any breaks. His performance has earned him praise from one and all.
