LIV Golf is set to hit the golfing world soon. After a scintillating season in 2023, followed by a dramatic transfer window, the next edition of the Saudi-backed league is gearing up for its third season. But what surprised the community was the absence of Donald Trump-owned courses on its 2024 schedule, along with other unannounced venues. Anyhow, it seems the worries were for naught.
The ex-POTUS revealed, a little while back, about the decision to host a 2024 LIV Golf event at one of his properties. However, as the Americans divulged the circuit’s plans, it naturally piqued the interest of the community as to the other venues that could potentially host the other tournaments from the 2024 schedule, especially the Team Championship and the Individual Championship!

The 77-year-old took to the Truth Social Post on Friday to divulge the details regarding the upcoming season. What’s more, he disclosed how the Trump National Doral Course in Miami, which hosted the Team Championship in 2022 and 2023, would witness a LIV Golf tournament once again in 2024. But this time, it would take place in April. Then, what about the finales? Well, let us take a quick look at some of the ex-POTUS-owned courses that could potentially host the same.
1. Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster: The grounds hosted the third event of the inaugural edition in July 2022, along with the 11th tournament of the 2023 season. Designed by Tom Fazio and his son, the two layouts, named the Old Course and the New Course, first debuted in 2004 and 2008, respectively. The former then went on to rank inside the Top 100 Golf Courses in America by Golf Magazine, a total of four times among other accolades. Meanwhile, the latter stands alongside its counterpart as one of the finest in the world.
2. Trump National Golf Club, Washington D.C.: The venue set at Lowes Island in Potomac Falls boasts two 18-hole par-72 courses, including the Championship Course and the Riverview Course. Moreover, the ground was able to host the seventh tournament of the 2023 season of the Saudi-backed league, where Harold Varner III emerged victorious, taking home the winner’s cut from the $25 million prize pool.

3. Trump National Golf Club, Los Angeles: Earlier known as the Ocean Trails Golf Club, the LA venue suffered a delay in opening owing to an earthquake that struck the grounds in 1999. However, Trump bought the same property and renovated it by 2006, renaming it the current moniker. Thereafter, misfortune still seemed to tail the venue with Letitia James, the New York State Attorney General, who pursued a civil fraud trial against the businessman for inflating the property’s value. Reportedly one of his most expensive courses, it is nevertheless ranked among the Top 100 Courses You Can Play by Golf Magazine.

What’s more, the new layout boasts an elevation of 58 feet along with a huge number of trees, numbering five thousand.
