John Daly's cart: genius or just plain crazy? What's your take on this wild ride?

Have you seen John Daly’s golf cart, Fore? The two-time major champion keeps a stack of Good Boy Vodka cans inside his golf cart. A switch opens up the bonnet of his cart, and lo and behold. Even Bryson DeChambeau was shocked. No doubt, Daly’s golf cart is unique, but not the strangest one. There are many others. Here are a few that are truly mind-boggling.

Bubba Watson’s Hover-cart

In 2013, a strange video of Bubba Watson driving a hovercraft on the greens circulated in the media. It ‘floated’ over the greens, over the water hazard, and back in the fairway. Many found it hard to believe but Watson later appeared in a CNN interview, claiming it’s not a gag, it’s for real. The Neoteric Hovercraft Model 7600 was like a ‘magic carpet’ that floated a few inches above the greens. It leaves no trace on the course. The only downside is the hovercraft’s price. It comes in at $45,000. He later ditched it for Jetpack.

Surfing around the course on a GolfBoard

Built on a similar principle as a skateboard, a GolfBoard intends to make golf fun. And speedy. The official website claims that with a GolfBoard, you can finish an 18-hole round in less than 3 hours. One can reach their balls at 10 mph.. No wonder it improves the pace of play quite significantly.

In 2014, it won the PGA of America’s Best New Product award. Globally, 300 courses now offer GolfBoard. Indeed, it’s an innovative product, making it much easier for elderly people to golf—unless you hate carts—more frequently in a week.
