Brandel Chamblee and Phil Mickelson are like those names in the golf world that are mostly taken together to address a feud. The two have been engaged in a very long-standing war with each other. Both of them never fail to jibe at one another. And now, in the most recent update of their dramatic saga, Mickelson has accused the golf analyst of two major obsessions!

The typically calm and collected golfer expressed his strong stance against what he considers to be the analyst’s unjust actions. The tweet comes just days after the golfer reached his boiling point and was not willing to sit quietly anymore.

The battle of words on Twitter between the LIV star and golf analyst Chamblee has now taken a new, subtle turn. This time it was through the words of Lisa Cornwell, author! The writer recently sat down with professional entertainer Tucker Dale Booth to discuss her new book, ‘Troublemaker“. On The Golf Podcast Live, the pair discussed Cornwell’s book, which contained instances of the infamous analyst.

Troublemaker explores Cornwell’s encounters with bullies throughout her life, and Chamblee had made that list too. During the podcast, Booth even lashed out at the CBS analyst and said, Brandel Chamblee is nasty, a bully, and worse.

Quoting him, Lefty took to Twitter to express his regret at not being able to take credit for that spot on the evaluation of Chamblee. The six-time major champion added that he was more than obsessed with him and the Saudi-funded league. “His obsession with LIV (and me) borders on the psychotic; at least I never had to work with him.”

Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time Mickelson has shown his interest in Cornwell’s comments or has associated himself with anything remotely related to the ‘Troublemaker’. After all, Chamblee is a part of that book, regarded as his true self, “a bully.”

The 52-year-old golfer recently showed his support to Lisa Cornwell and another author, Karen Course, when they were attacked by Eamon Lynch, a golf commentator. When Course suggested Lynch read Cornwell’s book, he accused Lisa of getting fired from the New York Times for not being a diligent journalist. Cornwell, in turn, had a befitting reply to the commentator, and guess who else chimed in? None other than empathetic Lefty.

Mickelson tweeted, supporting the two female authors and calling out Lynch for being no different than Brandel Chamblee. Moreover, he empathized with the writers, for they too had to deal with analysts antics, and wished both authors a great deal of success in their careers.
