The American golfer is all set to battle it out from September 14 to 17, the six-time PGA Tour winner aims to defend his title for the second consecutive year which is a rare achievement in the world of golf. His journey to this stage has showcased exceptional skill and unwavering dedication, placing him in an elite club that includes golf legends like Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker.

If Max Homa emerges victorious this year, he will secure his third consecutive Fortinet Championship win, an achievement not accomplished since Steve Stricker’s three-year reign at the John Deere Classic in Illinois from 2009 to 2011.

The last time such a golfing achievement came to pass in California was when Tiger Woods won the Buick Invitational for four consecutive years from 2005 to 2008.

Now all eyes are on Max Homa as he prepares to take on the upcoming event and hopefully win it. This would put him in an excellent position for the Ryder Cup as well.
