Danielle Kang is no stranger to making dramatic entrances. Earlier this year, the star player unfortunately had her clubs misplaced on her flight. It happened to her at the AIG Women’s Open and it happened again this week when she reached Malaga for the Solheim Cup.

But by a stroke of luck, she always packs her putter in her carry-on. And though she got her set of clubs back, now it is her putter that is serving as a great aid on the grounds of Finca Cortesin today. But what went behind the scenes in the bid to retrieve her coveted golf bag?

Danielle Kang is performing proudly and full of confidence today in Spain. But three days ago she was drowned in extreme worries when she made it to Spain without her clubs. She quickly requested the airlines on Twitter to arrange for her missing clubs.

In this stressful time, she got the support of her team members and her captain, Stacy Lewis. Moreover, her sponsors also got her back. The $3.77B worth Titleist quickly made Kang a set of exact clubs and delivered them to her. And soon her own clubs were delivered to her on time. Lewis also shared the happy news on social media.

Team USA seems to be thriving at the Solheim this year and Khang is doing exceedingly well. It looks like all she needed was her clubs to make a solid impact in the tournament. In the first round, she was paired with Andrea Lee, with whom she also shared a playful moment.

Put together for the first round, Lee and Kang are shining in Spain. After a round Kang approached Lee for a fist bump but Lee failed to see it and moved ahead. However the latter quickly realized her mistake and stepped back to Kang to do the bump.

In return, Kang playfully grabbed Lee’s entire fist. In this manner, the duo shared a light-hearted moment before heading to the next hole.
