Cameron Smith's honesty—refreshing or overrated? What do you think of his golfing confession?

Cameron Smith’s Ripper GC are Team Champions of LIV Golf! The team, comprised of four Australians, won the stroke play final event to claim the prize over Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces. The celebrations were jubilant and merry. And afterward, the title-winning Aussies revealed their bizarre and elaborate celebration plans.

Teammates, Matt Jones, Lucas Herbert, and Marc Leishman spoke about their plans for the intervening months until the next LIV Golf season starts in February. They revealed they would be having a few beers and enjoying going back to Australia to play in tournaments. “There might be a few sore heads over the next four months, I think, on home soil.” Herbert jokingly said, alluding to having a four-month-long celebration of the win.

With several upcoming tournaments in Australia, such as the Australian Open and BMW Australian Championship, they now have some shiny jewelry in the championship rings and some bragging rights to take home. Herbert also spoke of how much they were looking forward to playing in their home country, saying, “Very much looking forward to all the events we’re going to get to play in Australia at the end of this year and start of next year. It’s going to be a hell of a lot of fun.”
