Tiger Wood will be back in the spotlight at the 2022 Genesis Invitational. He is the host of the event at Riviera Country Club and will make his first appearance after the 2021 PNC Championship. Unfortunately, for golf fans all over the world, he will not be a part of the event.
Plamer shares a beautiful anecdote about Tiger Woods
Arnie, Jack as well as Tiger are probably some of the greatest professionals of all time. Both Tiger as well as, Arnie have been good friends throughout their careers and both professionals respect each other.
Back in 2016, Arnie narrated a rather interesting anecdote relating to Woods. The King wrote a piece in the TIME narrating how he almost got Woods into trouble.

He wrote, “He wanted to pick my brain about a range of golf-related topics, including the pros and cons of turning professional. I was delighted to oblige, and I picked up the dinner tab. However, his good gesture would put Woods into some deep trouble.

He added, “Unfortunately, that little gesture ended up almost getting Tiger in trouble, because the NCAA has a rule—among many—that prohibits student-athletes from receiving benefits because of their status or reputation. To make things right, Tiger had to write a check to me for $25.”
Woods’s last PGA Tour Event
Tiger Wood played last in the 2021 PNC Championship. The 46-year-old professional played the event along with his son Charlie Axel Woods. The duo ended the tournament with an overall score of 25-under-par. As a result, finished as runner-ups to team Daly. Team Dealy won the event with a score of 27-under-par.
