With two days left to spare, Max Homa currently leads the Genesis Invitational with only a single stroke from three other fellow PGA Tour stars. As the golfer’s elite skillset has been a worthwhile display, his down-to-earth persona was also noticed by the golf world. The fans could not contain themselves from witnessing Homa spending time with his fans after a three-under-par second round.
As the Californian-born golfer leads the Genesis Invitational, it isn’t the first time he is on the verge of tasting victory at the Riviera Country Club. Max Homa’s second PGA Tour win came back at the 2021 edition of Genesis Invitational, after a stellar playoff round with Tony Finau.
He has the opportunity to retain the trophy two years later with his amazing display of golf. However, apart from his remarkable golfing, it was his character at the end of the day which won the hearts of the fans.

As he ended the second round with a -10 total score, Max Homa decided to sign some autographs and take selfies with the fans who were waiting for the world number 12 despite the sun setting behind them. The PGA Tour shared the video on Twitter, where the 32-year-old didn’t hesitate in spending some time with fans after the tiring round.
“Thank you so much”, the fans told the golfer for his humble gesture. Homa has always been reachable to his fans when it comes to social media.
