While a great many golfers will be away playing at the Olympics this Thursday, golf will not come to a stop in the US. The Portland Classic will kick off on August 1st at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club. The Portland Classic has only two ticket options to choose from. Unless you make a move right away, you might miss out on a good deal.

All the tickets can be purchased directly from the venue’s official website. Although there are only two options to choose from, you might want a little briefing before you decide on your ticket. Because the price difference between the two is quite a big one.

The general admission fee at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club is only $20 per day for all rounds of the event. Although the price range is extremely pocket-friendly, it does not come with any other facilities of its own. The weekly purchase of the tickets, however, will cost an additional discount, and you can get it for only $60.

The Portland Classic has also introduced its hospitality ticket through the Champions Club. Retailing at $250 each every day, this ticket allows you to have access to an open-air hospitality structure. This hospitality location will overlook the 18th tee. Although the official site has not confirmed the range of food and beverages that will be present and included for the ticket holders, one can only expect gourmet delicacies for the price range.

The seniors can purchase their tickets with a $5 discount. That’s right, their general admission tickets are selling for only $15, and when it comes to a weekly pass for Thursday-Sunday, a senior citizen can get it for only $50.

But is that all that Portland Classic has to provide for its audience? Absolutely Not. Certain groups of the audience can enter the event premises for free.

Who will get free entries in the Portland Classic?

Apart from the discounts that seniors will get at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club, juniors are also subject to some perks. Every child aged 17 and under will get free admission. However, this is only eligible for general admission; if they wish to enter the Champions Club, they will be required to produce a ticket.

The present and former military and armed forces servers will also be honored. According to the Portland Classic, they will not only get free admission but will also be allowed to bring a partner for free. They stated, “To honor the men and women who serve our country in the United States Armed Forces, the Portland Classic is pleased to offer both current and former members of the U.S. Military and their accompanying spouse or partner OR dependent complimentary grounds tickets regardless of sell-out. This includes active duty, active reserve, veterans, military retirees, and ROTC personnel. Complimentary military tickets do not gain access to private hospitality areas.”
