Love is in the air! Well, at least that is the case with junior golfer Noah Kent. And the story is nothing short of magical. The talented 19-year-old amateur golfer is still making a name for himself in the golfing world, and we all know how taxing it can be. However, Kent can count on someone to be there for him, and when things go down, he has a shoulder to lean on. 

Kent is currently dating Livi Shafer, a member of the University of Iowa’s dance team. The golfer met Shafer on the college campus, as he also studies Sports and Recreation Management at the same university. The couple has been together for around six months and seems to be going strong. 

Shafer has a public Instagram account named @livishafer and is a social and outgoing person who often shares little moments of her life on her Instagram. She is supportive of Kent’s golfing career and was even spotted at the 2024 U.S. Amateur with his family. It looks like she is pretty close to his family too, because when Kent won his semifinals at the competition, Shafer was celebrating it with his family. The couple’s relationship is still in its early stages, but they seem to be enjoying each other’s company. 

Kent’s girlfriend, indeed, brings some sparkle to his life with her outgoing personality. She has Kent’s username written in her Instagram bio, which showcases the commitment and support the young couple has for each other. Speaking of commitment and support, you’ll be surprised to know that Shafer was with Kent at the fields of the U.S. Amateur. Well, technically.

Noah Kent was the Ballester’s finals opponent at the 2024 U.S. Amateur, and you’ll never know how his girlfriend supported him. Well, Kent had a special glove that day that held more meaning than any glove might ever have. The glove featured three sets of initials: “NK,” which is his own; “JH,” which stands for his mentor John Harris, who was also the winner of the 1993 U.S. Amateur Championship; and lastly, “LS,”  his girlfriend and biggest fan, Livi Shafer.

These initials served as a reminder of the people who had supported Kent on his journey to the finals. These names were surely close to his heart, and carrying them with him on the greens must’ve meant so much to Kent.
