Scottie Scheffler may be the most exciting golfer in the world at the moment, but when it comes to his personal life, the golfer is infamously labeled as ‘boring’. It all began when retired NHL defender, Ryan Whitney, appreciated the world number one’s golfing attributes, but labelled the golfer as boring. With Scheffler being heavily scrutinized for his not-so-glittering lifestyle, what does he do when he’s not earning millions on the golf course?
Since last year, Scottie has had six PGA Tour wins to his name including last week’s Players Championship. While he may be prepping to successfully defend his Green Jacket at next month’s Masters, the golfer’s simple personal life has been a topic of discussion in the golf world.
The world of golf got a glimpse of Scheffler’s personal life in the latest Netflix Documentary Full Swing. However, the 26-year-old shared a regular day of his life in a recent video with Golf Digest. So what does the world number one do on his day away from professional golf?

How does the ‘boring’ Scottie Scheffler spend his day?
Scheffler starts off by walking with his wife of three years, Meredith Scrudder. The two stroll around the streets of Dallas for a morning coffee. The golfer moved to the Texas capital when he was six years old and has been there ever since. “I couldn’t really imagine living anywhere else”, said Scottie about his love for the city.
The couple then heads to the Park and reminisce their high school days. Meredith said, “I was feeling very bold” while talking about sitting next to her future husband in high school for the first time. After the sweet family time, the world number one then heads to the Royal Oaks Country Club for a swinging session with his long-time coach, Randy Smith.

Scottie Scheffler spends the rest of his day at the golf course in Dallas. While many may label his daily routine as vague and boring, the golfer has worked hard to earn the life he is living today. Though Scheffler may spend more hours on the greens of the Royal Oaks Country Club than his home, his parents once had to borrow money for their son for a membership at the club.
However, the world number one now has all the money in the world, especially with his current form. A lovely family with hefty cheques may be ‘boring’ for some, but it is the dream life for many, including Scheffler.
