Tiger Woods & Charlie Woods nearly won the 2024 PNC Championship. However, the entire event was a fun-filled joy ride for the Woods family, as fans saw them smiling throughout the two days. The GOAT’s daughter, Sam Woods, also accompanied team Woods. Returning to Caddy her father, Sam Woods, also enjoyed watching her family perform so well. But that was not the reason Sam caught the attention of the fans in the 2nd round of the tournament. It was her choice of footwear.

As shared by Beth Ann Nichols on their X account, Sam Woods was seen sporting a brand of shoes that was “anything but Nike.” While there were numerous speculations about the brand of the shoes, the part about it not being Nike is what was pointed out. The caption to the tweet read, “In non-ace news, how fun are Sam’s shoes?”

Tiger Woods & Nike broke their 27-year-old multi-million dollar contract in January 2024. The lucrative deal earned Woods millions since he broke into the scene in the mid-90s and caused a lot of ripples in the golf community.

Reports had previously suggested there was tension between both parties that would eventually boil down to separation. However, fans were still shocked to learn about it when it actually did happen.

So on a day that saw Charlie Woods hit the first ace of his career, his sister Sam also caught a bit of the spotlight by not sporting Nike footwear. And fans had a lot to say about the situation. Let’s see how they reacted.

“Anything but Nike” for Sam Woods

Sam was seen walking down the fairway holding Tiger Woods‘s golf bag, and wearing what seemed like comfortable Converse shoes. That led to @MartyNiehaus stating, “Nike owns Converse too. All in the family.” However, @gregglink had an entirely different opinion on the choice of shoe brand. They commented, “Alastair cruising down the fairway.” Suggesting that it is a unique brand of shoes that Sam Woods is wearing at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Course.

Both @doldmoose & @CarsleyGolf questioned if Sam was instead wearing “Chuck Taylor’s,” which again goes back to Converse. But @justenholstein claimed that “Anything but Nike in tigers house,” indicating that the boots Tiger Woods’s daughter is wearing do not belong to the Nike brand.

@Bellyhungry didn’t care about the brand of the shoes but had something entirely different to point out as they said, “Should be a lesson for those who wear golf shoes to watch golf tournaments. 🙂,” suggesting that those on the course also often drift away from the traditional golf shoes. So fans who wear them while watching the sport should also refrain from doing so.
