Recently, LIV Golf player Sergio Garcia spoke about the new addition to the FireBalls GC in a podcast. While there was no official confirmation, hints from Garcia suggested that the golfer’s GC might have signed with Rahm ahead of the 2024 season. Garcia mentioned filling the position left by Carlos Ortiz with a young and talented player, without revealing the name, and the fans speculated it to be Rahm.

Days after the incident, some new pages have unfolded in the LIV Golf’s history. In a recent X update, NUCLR Golf has updated the golfing silo about a LIV Golf trade that has happened between two GCs—Torque GC and the Fireballs GC.

As per the tweet, David Puig from the Torque GC has moved to the Fireballs GC and will be seen taking the greens with Garcia next year, while Carlos Ortiz’s move has been to the Torque GC. The golfer will now play under the captainship of Joaquin Niemann. The news has cleared the rumors about Rahm joining the Fireball GC, but the speculations around the golfer’s $600 million LIV Golf shift are still abuzz.

With Puig’s move to Fireballs GC, the skepticism has come to a cease. And while the Rahm move is yet hanging, a certain LIV golfer’s claims seem to have been prophesized.
