Playing in England now, Hull has a home-field advantage that also attracted several of her fans to come out and show their support. An adorable little girl was seen in the audience, holding up a homemade sign that read, “Charley, you’re the best.“ Clearly, her fans range from all ages, and it must have been encouraging for the pro golfer to receive so much love on the golf course.
The 27-year-old LPGA star shot bogeys at the 4th and 14th and picked up one birdie in the front 9 at the 6th. She had a better run at the back 9 where she shot two consecutive birdies on the 11th and 12th, followed by a double bogey on the 13th. finally, she shot an eagle on the 16th and finished with 1-under 71 at the 72-par course.

Charley Hull’s run at majors this season
The LPGA Pro’s game hasn’t been the finest, especially at Major tournaments this season. Apart from the US Women’s Open at Pebble Beach, where she scored second place with 6-under 282, she hasn’t been in form.
The former Rookie of the Year winner missed the cut in all three previous major events, which includes the recent Amundi Evian Championship. It makes the AIG Women’s Open the last chance for her to claim a Major title this season, or at least finish in the top 10. Hull’s fans are rooting for her and that ought to cheer up the English golfer to make the cut and fight for the title in her home country.
