The LPGA Tour is currently going through the Mizuho Americas Open. The event is having a phenomenal turn, especially as the young gun Rose Zhang who has been breaking records, is playing her first professional debut in the event, and is currently leading the scoreboard. But there are some remarkable differences that can be noted between this monumental event and the ongoing Memorial Tournament of the PGA Tour. The prize pool is the most noteworthy among them. Amidst these, PGA Tour professional Joel Dahmen, pointed out a slight mishap in the official online LPGA scores.
According to him, it is difficult to see the leaderboards on the official LPGA Tour page. The ongoing Mizuho Americas Open event is witnessing dramatic leaderboard changes after each round. But the difficulty to navigate and find it on the official online page is proving a headache for many.
It’s amazing how hard it is to find LPGA scores even on their website. https://t.co/SL32HU1XbI

Moreover, the debut of rookie star Rose Zhang is something that is considered quite important for the LPGA. Discussions of her being the pivotal force to raise the LPGA’s significance compared to the PGA Tour, have been going on for long. But, now fans are quite disappointed by the fact that they cannot navigate and see the leaderboards through the official LPGA Tour website with ease.
This restriction is adding more fuel to the stereotypes that are currently present in Women’s golf and a quick remedy, though difficult, is expected from the authorities.
Fans express their concerns regarding the navigation difficulties
After questions were raised by Joel Dahmen, the golfing world joined in to pitch what they wanted to convey. Fans were quite dejected by the difficulty of navigating the LPGA online space. This coupled with certain disparities with the PGA Tour has even infuriated a few netizens.
They must have the same developers the pgatour ap has. It’s easy to find content they want you to see and hard to find what you want.
Here’s an inside secret… most folks opening the ap want to see scores. Make that a priority.

Agreed. @LPGA app needs an update. Leaderboard should pop right up when you open it.

LPGA is just always fumbling the bag with TV coverage and their own website. And I know the TV stuff has to do with the networks but then just make a better contract. Even if it earns less today, it will grow the pie and earn more tomorrow. Invest in yourself and your product!

Trying to watch with my daughter and had to wait hours, it’s insane! All day my daughter was asking when she could watch Rose (she is 9).
