Last month both the golf leagues were issued investigation letters by Democratic Senator, Richard Blumenthal regarding the merger. Both parties were given ample time to prepare for the meeting. And today as the meeting commenced a set of alarming news emerged. As per reports of the golf page, NUCLR GOLF, a presentation has been given to the head of the PGA Tour, and the contents of its proposal are rather shocking. According to its terms Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy would each have their own LIV Teams and both the players will play in 10 LIV events.

Another point vouched for Yasir Al-Rumayyan to become a member of R&A & Augusta National.

The alleged presentation is named “best of both worlds,” and has mentioned some unbelievable proposals. If these reports are anything to go by then it will be a big step from the end of Tiger Woods who up until now has remained quiet on the matter. As per the report suggestion, Woods have the possibility of owning a LIV Team and will also be participating in the LIV’s event. This could changed the entire narrative of both leagues and the chaos it has created for the last two years. However these terms are quiet shocking as Woods famously dislike LIV Golf.

Tiger Woods’ resentment for LIV Golf

Tiger Woods’ dislike for the Saudi-backed league is no secret. The Hall of Famer didn’t like its creation in the first place, and he had allegedly also turned down the golden opportunity of an $800 million deal he was offered to join the league showing his loyalty to the PGA Tour.

But he suffered a setback when the merger was announced, but continues to maintain silence on the matter. And Rory McIlroy who is also mentioned in the report has also often expressed his hate for the LIV Tour, saying “I hate LIV Golf” loud and clear in a press conference after the merger.

The investigation is underway with coming days revealing more interesting aspects in the matter. Key persons of both parties Jay Monahan from PGA Tour, and Greg Norman and Yasir al-Rumayyan from LIV Golf’s side were requested for their testimony at the hearing last month only.
