Although the legend made his comeback into the game in the Masters Tournament held in 2022, he could only score 301 (+13). Moreover, he had to pull out of the 2023 edition of the same after his injury worsened, forcing him into recovery. But now, in a surprise of sorts, the 47-year-old was spotted on the course with his son at a competition.
In a video uploaded on Twitter, the golf professional was seen with his 14-year-old boy at the Last Chance Florida Regional (Boys). The 15X major winner carried the bags for the young golfer as he put up a stellar performance to win the 14-15 division of the event. Charlie was able to score a 6-under 66 on the second and final round to register a total of 137 (-7) and pave his way to the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship at Coushatta.
The video showcases the prodigy scoring a birdie on the 10th hole after which he walks back to his looper. The caddy, in question, is none other than his father and the legend of the game as he waits outside the greens with the flagstick in hand. The bagman seems to be in good shape and was seen walking on the course towards his son.
