Though many reports have suggested that Greg Norman will be given a new position after being replaced as the Commissioner, LIV Golf came in his defense and denied all the claims. “Greg Norman is our CEO and Commissioner. Any suggestion that changes are being made to Greg’s title or role is patently false,” said Majed Al Mansour, managing director of LIV Golf.
Moreover, Norman has been bold as usual with his words and also claimed that Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy must be “thanking LIV Golf”, for forcing new changes in the PGA Tour amid the formation of the lucrative Tour. With only a few months left before the start of LIV Golf’s new season, the occurrence of back and forth between Norman and McIlroy is imminent.
