Amid the 2023 US Women’s Open Hype, Nelly Korda Confesses What Allowed Her to “Be Together” With Her Family – It’s Not Golf

And amid answering them, Korda confessed to the sport that brought them all together and helped them bond as a family! “It was a sport [Tennis] where we could all play together and be together as a family.”

Mentioning how it is part of an individual sport, the 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship winner reflected on the mindset it creates. Probably, this line was stated in terms of both golf and tennis in terms of competitiveness. Overall, the sentiment behind Korda’s words showed how close-knit the Korda couple and their children are. “When my dad stopped playing, they loved that we were all outside together and spending time as a family,” she stated.

Although it’s not golf, it isn’t surprising to see the family investing time in tennis. After all, both Petr and Regina were tennis greats, and Nelly’s little brother Sebastian is a budding tennis star too!

The primary focus was on how each member of the family is there to uplift the other member, despite the competition. Especially Nelly’s parents, who have always been a source of guidance for each Korda sibling. She mentioned how grateful they are for what her parents have done for all of them.

Shifting her attention to her sister and brother, Korda said that they are the first people who message her, and she definitely reciprocates the sentiment. In conclusion, the LPGA Tour golfer stated that they are always there for each other.
