To affirm this… a hilarious incident came to pass at the ongoing 2023 Genesis Scottish Open.

While interacting with fans, the PGA Championship winner came across a simple question from a little fan of his. “Did you play good or rubbish? an innocent voice asked. The voice was so soft that Harrington couldn’t hear the question. The child repeated it with an adult coming to his aid. The adult made it clear for the two-time British Open Championship winner as to what the little fan had said.

Hearing the question led to a round of chuckles from the fans in attendance. “I played good,” Harrington answered the child with a smile to everyone. The moment was so adorable that the video posted by PGA Tour Champions went viral on social media. People loved how calm Harrington was to the question and how politely he answered the young fan.

Harrington finished round one of the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open with a three-under 67 thanks to four birdies and one bogey. He came up with a four-under 66 in the second round. He was a bit off in the third round though and turned in a 70. He sat at T17 with a score of -7 ahead of the final round. Now let’s see how social media reacted to the encounter.
