Is family support the secret weapon for Nelly Korda at the Solheim Cup amid breakup rumors?

Nelly Korda’s solo appearance at the Solheim Cup gala ceremony has sparked curiosity about her relationship status. The 14-time LPGA Tour winner walked the red carpet alone, shining in a stunning black dress amid a sea of fellow golfers accompanied by their partners. Even Lexi Thompson, who has been utterly private about her relationship, was seen with a mystery man.

Korda’s solo attendance has led many to wonder if she has parted ways with her NHL boyfriend, Andreas Athanasiou. While the golf world is buzzed with speculation as to what happened between the two athletes, fans should know that Korda has no shortage of support despite the rumors. And from where does that support come? Her loving, and sport-loving family.

Nelly Korda’s sister Jessica Korda, who is on a professional hiatus after giving birth to her first child, might be going to the Solheim Cup to show support for the American squad. Jessica Korda is still at home and revealed her plans in an Instagram story from home where she was seen promoting a travel brand called Skyscanner. “So excited to be partnering with Skyscanner this Solheim Cup. Stay tuned for what’s to come,” she said in the story.

As she doesn’t go anywhere without her 7-month-old, fans could assume that Nelly Korda will have the support of her nephew Greyson John DelPrete as well, who she loves very much. Even before the little one came into the world, Auntie Nelly was ready to spoil him with love. To say that Korda’s eyes light up whenever she talks about little Greyson is an understatement. One could just hear the affection in her voice whenever she speaks about her nephew.

This is not the first time Nelly Korda will have her sister’s support on the greens. Jessica Korda has shown unwavering support to her sister even with a 12-hour gap between their time zones.
