The professional golf of current times like any other sport cannot escape from commercial grips. This is especially true when one takes into account the Saudi-backed, LIV Golf league. One of the most important purposes of the rebel league was to promote the commercial aspect of the game.

Apparel and equipment appear to be the main source of promotional entities, and LIV Golf is making the most of these opportunities. The former represents the identity of a golfer, and the brand name automatically gets associated with him or her. Along these lines, one of the LIV teams has made a new announcement. Let’s find out more.

The brand new partnership announced by the Majesticks GC

Through its Twitter handle, Golf Digest informed the golf world of the new alliance between Majesticks GC and Redvanly. The brand usually deals in clothing materials and other golf-related accessories. Thus, the tweet said, “Redvanly was announced as the official on-course apparel partner of Majesticks GC“.

What it implies is that now Majesticks golfers — Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood, Henrik Stenson, Sam Horsfield and Laurie Canter (the current replacement for Horsfield who is injured), will be seen wearing this family-owned US-based brand on the greens.

Additionally, the items will be custom-made, and the merchandise sale will be promoted in offline and online markets. According to the co-Captain, Westwood, of the team, the company had been already providing the services to the team since the start of the season. This alliance has just ensured a deeper partnership for which each member of the team is excited.

According to Golf Digest, James Dunkley, Majesticks Team Principal, called this coalition a “first-of-its-kind partnership“. Amid the uncertainty that has been looming over LIV Golf after the billion-dollar merger, partnerships like these seem to send off a message of normalcy. The Crypto brand, OKX, earlier this year had also made their sponsorship public with the Majesticks team.

Along with the shadows of uncertainty over Greg Norman’s LIV Golf, another massive piece of news has come to light.

The rising tensions surrounding the $3 billion merger

The start of last month this year was quite a shocker. It welcomed something unthinkable — the alliance between PGA Tour, the Saudi-oriented PIF, and the DP World Tour. There is almost no one in the golf fraternity who isn’t aware of this coalition. But more than the partnership, its by-products are surprising the fans and professionals.

First, it was the big question mark surrounding the role of LIV Golf and its CEO. Now, recently, the new revelations have come forth concerning some “leaked-documents“. The man at the center of this is none other than the golf legend, Tiger Woods! Apparently, PGA Tour executives were up to no good in order to show up LIV Golf. And Woods was ready to deliver an expletives-laden speech against LIV golf. However, the 82-time PGA Tour winner has strongly denied this.

Additionally, a tweet by @desertdufferLLG showcased a snapshot that turned out to be from the 357-page antitrust suit. This antitrust suit was addressed against the PGA Tour by attorney Larry Klayman after the league banned the LIV players.
