In a recent Instagram update, the LPGA Tour page posted a video with the caption, “Hey LPGA tour followers! You’ll be seeing me all week 🤭🫣🫣🫣 @jennyshin_jtibs. Questions and comments below!!!” In the video, LGPA Tour girl Jenny Shin is seen announcing takeoverover of the Instagram page for the week.
The video begins on a happy note, with Shin announcing, “I am here to let you know that I will be taking over the LPGA Instagram page for the entire week here in Dallas.” The player talks about her day and adds that she just got back from Arkansas, and the drive was tiring. She then introduces herself properly, stating her age, her professional LPGA Tour career, and how she agreed to do this with the LPGA in terms that nothing would be scripted. “You’ll see the real me, my real schedule… moments of vulnerability,” she adds.
She further counts that she aims to keep her presence on the page very simple and in contact with golf, that she will be answering questions and doing live sessions, and that the fans will get to see her life outside of golf. The video ends with, “Stay tuned! I will keep you posted.”

The sudden change in the LPGA’s star face has the fans also questioning where the OG page girl, a.k.a. Nelly Korda, is and whether all is well with the one-time major winner.
Korda’s unexpected disappearance from the golf world
After the histrionic Solheim Cup singles match where Carlota Ciganda tied the score at 14-14, enabling Europe to retain their title, Nelly Korda has noticeably withdrawn from the public eye. The LPGA Tour pro is known for her unique and lively personality and her unfiltered touch when interacting with her fans on social media. This time, however, Korda has been conspicuously absent.

The US Women’s Open Champion hasn’t shared any updates with her fans on her Instagram or Twitter posts about the game. Additionally, she has opted to take a break from upcoming golf tournaments, including the Ladies European Tour’s Lacoste Ladies Open de France Tournament. She was also not present on the LPGA Tour’s Walmart NW Arkansas Championship roaster, thus skipping the play at the Country Club in Rogers.
Speculations point to the thorough demands of the Solheim Cup, involving both the competitive 72-hour event and intensive practice sessions, which might have taken a toll on her physical and mental well-being. The recent defeat seems to have deeply affected the 25-year-old, potentially adding to her decision to step back from the limelight.
