The LPGA cover girl, Nelly Korda, had an exhausting last week, which is why the golf phenom even took a break from the NW Arkansas Championship, taking place at Pinnacle Country Club. Besides, she has been completely silent after the patriotic defeat in Spain. 

Now, Nelly’s elder sister, Jessica Korda, who was not a part of the American Solheim Cup team because of her pregnancy, gives the golf world a very special update. This serves as a ray of hope for golf enthusiasts amid Nelly’s muzzling numbness. 

Jessica Korda has good news amid Nelly’s lows

As we already know, Jessica Korda has represented America in the Solheim Cup editions three times in 2013, 2019, and 2021. She even has a total record of 5-4-2. But this year, the LPGA Pro didn’t participate in the biennial event. The reason behind her hiatus is her pregnancy.

On the other hand, her little sister Nelly participated in the 2023 Solheim Cup. Fans had immense hopes for the Nike girl. But as some cruel twist of fate, her gameplay started faltering in the Saturday fourballs. She and her partner Ally Ewing lost the four-ball match against Charley Hull, paired with Leona Maguire.

The misfortune carried into the singles as well. Carlota Ciganda defeated Korda 2&1. Despite her defeat, the USA managed to tie at 14-14 with Europe, but as per traditions, the past winners keep the cup in case there is no outright win. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the loss took a toll on Korda Junior, and she has decided to go off the radar for some time. Amid this, her elder sister has good news to share.

Jessica posted an Instagram reel. The video shows her bulged tummy and the caption gives away that she is in Italy. As the post went up on her handle, fans showered their well-wishes on her in the comment section.
