The PGA Tour U ranking ranks the top 20 college players. The players will have different benefits based on their ranking, and only the first ranked will get the PGA Tour card.

How do players get ranking points? The golfers are required to play in PGA Tour-sanctioned events, which are PGA Tour events themselves, some DP World Tour events, and the biggest collegiate event, the NCAA D-I Men’s Team Championship. The golfer will get points equivalent to the World Amateur Golf Ranking system’.

The players gain points through playing and winning different awards in their collegiate years. The average points of a golfer will then be multiplied by 100 and recorded. On team events, a player gets points based on his individual performance. Teams advancing to the D-I Championship are selected from the top 5 teams from the regional competitions and the leading players whose teams are not in the top 5.
