Ally Ewing is currently set for the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. Just days ago, however, she received the elated news of being selected as one of Team USA captain Stacy Lewis’ picks. And at the press conference ahead of this week’s tournament, she refreshed her memories of securing the sport.

When asked about her journey to the Solheim Cup, Ewing candidly shared that her selection was not solely based on her ranking or points, leaving her with a sense of unease. Ally Ewing went from uncertainty to mentorship in her Solheim Cup journey

Reflecting on her previous two experiences at the Solheim Cup, Ewing also mentioned in the interview how she was not very sure as to what was going to happen the first time she went since she was an alternate. Subsequently, she joined the ranks as a young rookie.

However, this time around, Ewing sees an opportunity to leverage her past experiences to assist the rookies and give them insights not just on the golf course but just generally into what the week is going to look like.
