Keegan Bradley has shot to stardom after his spectacular finish at the Travelers Championship held at Cromwell, Connecticut. His massive win came quite expectedly, in fact when he started leading the game from the beginning.

Bradley wore the Jordan shoes during the Travelers Championship, probably to feel as strong as His Airness.

His devotion to the Hall of Fame Star paid off when he won the title of the 2023 Travelers Championship. It is not an easy feat that can be credited to just the shoes. However, Bradley’s entire demeanor and his predatory form in the event reminds one of his idol.

At the end of the 18th hole, Keegan putt the ball with only a 2-feet par and sprang in delight. He couldn’t help but scream with all the adrenaline rushing through his body. Then he did one of Jordan’s signature victory move from the 1988 Slam Dunk contest as he walked away.

It seems like Bradley wanted to pay tribute to MJ in more ways than one. The Basketball legend loves playing golf and is very competitive. He looks forward to getting into people’s heads and playing mind games.

In the Travelers Championship, Keegan took a similar approach. While he was faring well throughout the first three rounds, his performance in the final round was breathtaking.

He started the game strong and played really well to get the lead over his competitors. An intimidation technique that Jordan often uses to get the upper hand on his opponents.

Keegan made the whole event memorable, culminating with taking home the title and the winning prize amount of $36,000,000. It just goes to show that when we aim higher, and find motivation in legendary icons, we lift our game.

Keegan Bradley played an extraordinary game

This victory was an anticipated result due to Bradley’s inherent talent with his iron. His gameplay had been steady throughout the four rounds of the Travelers Championship. He maintained a score of 62, 63, and 64, and finished with 68 with a 2-shot lead.

From the get-go, Bradley set the tone. He did well in the first 11 holes, and on the 12th, he hit a birdie that put him in the lead by six shots. From there, he knew that he created enough gap between himself and his cohorts that he could take the victory if he played casually without letting the pressure get to him.

Bradley fumbled on the 14th and 16th holes when the temperature of the game hit its high point (not climatically). He then moved on to par on the 17th which set him up for the final hole, which he knew at this point would be a cakewalk.

Keegan Bradley played beyond anyone’s expectations. When he took his sabbatical after an injury to his shoulder, it was one of those incidents that made the golfing community wonder if he will successfully play again.

After all, golfers’ injuries are serious especially when it comes to their arms, shoulders, and knees. However, Keegan made a triumphant return to the course and delighted everyone, including himself with his victory. He may be hoping that his idol is also proud of him, don’t you think?
