Achieving a safe place in one’s mental health is not at all an easy task. It takes lots of consistent effort from the person struggling. And for LIV Golfer, Matthew Wolff it is a continuous work in progress.

Wolff who has been very vocal about his struggle witnessed a career slump in this season. But he gave a stunning performance at LIV’s Greenbrier past weekend. And while he is getting ready for the $25 million LIV Golf Bedminster this week, Wolff has opened up about how he is finding his way through things.

Wolff joined LIV Golf as part of the LIV Crushers team. Though his time after joining the Saudi-backed league hasn’t been very great. Wolff has been suffering from mental health issues which have further affected his performance.

But last week was a revival for the California-born golfer. At the LIV Golf Greenbrier in the past weekend, Wolff displayed an incredible performance. He made a record round of record round of 9 under par.

Though he continues his efforts toward the betterment of his mental health, he is also focusing on golf. Speaking about how he is coping, Wolff said, “I just go out here and I give it my best every single day. It’s golf. It’s a roller coaster, and I’m learning to accept the good and the bad as they come and roll with it.”

This is also a big answer to his Crushers captain, Brooks Koepka who has called out Matthew for not giving his best efforts to the team and on the ground. While playing at Greenbrier, Wolff has also spoken about the balance he has achieved for now. “I feel like I’m in a really good spot right now; I’m really proud of the work I’ve put in,”

Matthew Wolff’s reviving performance at LIV Greenbrier

LIV Golf Greenbrier was a turning page for two LIV Golfers. While Bryson DeChambeau recorded his first and lowest record on the tour, for Wolff it was this season’s best performance. He made 9-under 61 which is his LIV-record low. He also performed well in the team round and helped Crushers maintain a lead on number 19. Speaking about his performance, he said, “Everyone goes through slumps, everyone goes through bad times, and I’m lucky mine only lasted a few tournaments. I started off the year really good, and I’m looking to end it really well.”

And it looks like the eclipse has finally started to lift up. As Wolff gears up for LIV Golf Bedminster this weekend, he is confident of giving a good performance and disproving the allegations made against him by his team captain.
