Even those who are not golf enthusiasts are familiar with Tiger Woods. Such is the power of Woods’ legacy. One of the most accomplished golfers, Woods has 82 PGA Tour victories and 15 Majors to his credit. Few can match his accomplishments. He is one of only five players in history to have achieved a career grand slam and is only second to Jack Nicklaus in terms of most major victories.
Year by year, Tiger Woods is strengthening his legacy and thanks to his game and success, he can flex whenever he wants. He has the license. No two ways about that. Not long ago Woods, for the first time, displayed the special place made for his superlative collection. Let’s find out more!

The thing with collecting trophies like Woods is that you need a nice place to display them. Even though he is unsure of the whereabouts of several of his other awards, Woods is quite precise about the positions of his 15 major championship trophies. That’s right, he is kind of a nerd in that regard.
Last year, following his participation in the two-day JP McManus Pro-Am, in an interview Woods revealed how he kept all of his trophies, particularly the major ones. Woods said he had four shelves with their own sections for Major trophies. “I have four shelves and so I’ve been lucky enough because I have four shelves, each one has their own section. They have their own row.”
This is how you flex when you are among the best golfers in the world. Though his last major win was in 2019, when he won the Masters, he still has it in him to win a few more before he walks off into the sunset.

The three-time Open Championship winner is currently having a difficult year. With the exception of the Masters, when he made the cut but had to withdraw due to plantar fasciitis, he was unable to compete in any other majors owing to his health concerns.
In a few days, the prestigious Open Championship will begin at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club. Given recent health reports on Woods, fans will regrettably not see him work his magic on the course this time either. Woods will not take a shot at the Claret Jug this time but we’re optimistic that his trophy shelves will soon be stocked with a few new ones. There is plenty of life in the old dog yet!
