Life can be extremely uncertain and unfortunate at times. One can witness tough times without anticipation. Such incidents can be devastating for anyone. Recently, an unfortunate incident involving veteran golfer John Daly’s business partner, came to light and it has shaken everyone including the golfer tremendously. 

Other than Daly’s cherished business fraternity member, there were more people who became acquaintances in this unfortunate incident.

John Daly’s business partner suffers an unfortunate accident 

Alex Pratt, the founder of Good Boy Vodka partnered up with John Daly to introduce a new line of cocktails in 2022. Daly’s business partner recently was involved in a boat accident. There were quite a few other people on the boat who got injured in an accident. The incident took place on Saturday at the Lake of the Ozarks, southwest of St. Louis. The boat flipped as it collided with a house, and flipped all the passengers inside the boat.

In total, there were 8 passengers on board, including 4 women and 4 men. The golfer’s partner, Alex Pratt, and her partner Roxy Soukup were also present. Soukup got heavily injured and had to undergo several surgeries. Pratt posted a status calling himself and all the members aboard “helpless” as the shoreline arrived too quickly and they couldn’t do anything to tackle the situation.

The 1991 PGA Championship winner reposted his partner’s status on his Instagram and shared an update on the accident. The golfer thanked everyone who reached out to him asking about the status of Pratt’s health. He wished everyone involved to feel better and also thanked all the first-line responders in the unfortunate accident. It is still unknown whether anyone inside the house was injured in the crash or not. 

The CEO of Good Boy Vodka expressed gratitude for life and shared he now understands how “fragile” it can be. He also wrote about being “thankful to be alive” and said that he has been given a new purpose after this unlucky accident. But the question arises, how did the accident happen?

Who was responsible for the boat crash? 

One of the people present on the boat, Adam Ramirez from Huntington Beach, has been booked for the crash. As per reports, he was found intoxicated while driving the boat, and that has been stated as the reason for the crash. Ramirez himself is an avid powerboat enthusiast. The boat involved in the accident was a 2014 Nortech boat with powerful engines and a top speed of 70 knots. 

Ramirez’s wife, Cathy was also there on the boat and got injured in the boat crash. Other people who seem to be identified by the police are Karlie Jones, Kylie Iltchi, Amy, and Matthew Hillyer.
