After Adam Sandler said in an interview that he would love to have John Daly appear in his sequel to Happy Gilmore, the golfing world was left in a robust tizzy of excitement to see one of the most popular figures in golf appear on the big screen. John Daly himself confirmed recently that he would be appearing in the film and said, “I’ve already filmed. We’re getting it done.”

While Sandler also said he would love for Tiger Woods to appear in the film as well, it is unclear if the 15-time major will. However, it would seem that there will be other big sportspeople making an appearance. Travis Kelce will be making a cameo and Sandler has said many golfers will also be making an appearance. The movie will be released by Netflix sometime this year.
