Amid Celebrating 4th of July, LIV Golf Defectors Patrick Reed and Bubba Watson Make A Juciy Confession

Happy Fourth of July!! On this special occasion, our pro golfers shared with everyone their guilty pleasures, and it is time to find out just what Patrick Reed and Bubba Watson love to feast on during the exciting holiday.

LIV golf may be a Saudi-backed circuit, but with a majority of American golfers on the league, it was only fitting to celebrate the event with a little flair!

Bubba Watson and Patrick Reed talk about their favorite 4th of July foods

The LIV golf association is constantly expanding. The Saudi-backed tournaments are gaining popularity and one of the primary reasons is that players seem happy on the circuit.

This 4th of July we found out why. LIV Golf league helped in commemorating America’s great day with a round of favorites on 4th of July questions to the American golfers. Bubba Watson was the first to answer and Patrick Reed stuck to his American roots throughout.

The first question was about the golfers’ favorite food that is commonly consumed on the 4th of July. Watson was shocked, probably because it was difficult to choose just one item from the array of delicacies. Usually, the dinner tables and food stands are filled with Pork Sandwiches, Macaroni Salad, Potato Salad, Grilled Chicken, Baby Back Ribs, Corn Dogs, Devilled, Eggs, Ham and Cheese Burgers, and so many mouth-watering bonne bouche. The cherry and apple pies definitely steal the show.

Still, the pro Golfer who joined the LIV golf circuit last year smiled and answered, “Gosh, gotta say, Cheeseburgers.” Who doesn’t love the meatiness of the patty dancing in their mouth with the perfect balance of a heavenly bun, some tomatoes and lettuce, and delicately melting cheese? One may wonder if Watson is already hungry thinking about it.

Patrick Reed, on the other hand, couldn’t help his red-blooded American spirit. He loves Ribs as evidenced by his choices, “I can go either; smoked prime ribs or smoked ribs.” Either way, it hits the right spot.

The second question was about their favorite 4th of July lawn games. Bubba Watson said, “Who doesn’t like lawn bowling?” He appears to be remembering his time with friends and family, playing Lawn Ball, probably winning. Who can tell?

Reed again has a very authentic American answer, “Cornhole.” Despite the miles between them, both American golfers miss their homeland on this special day of the year. here’s a video of the full round of questions:

The LIV Golf league was thrilled to share the golfers’ guilty pleasures on the auspicious occasion with their fans and loved ones. Lots of good wishes must be coming their way while they get ready for the next event.

Away from friends and family on the 4th of July

The little question-and-answer game made it clear that the American golfers would have loved to celebrate in their home country. Instead, they have to prepare for the next event in LIV Golf, scheduled to take place in London.

Still, Patrick Reed sent out a heartfelt tweet for his fellow Americans:

No doubt, the relatively-new members of LIV Golf wanted to be at home with their friends and families, playing Corn Hole, Lawn Bowl, or other hoop games at the 4th of July fair. They will miss the fireworks, but such is the life of a pro golfer.

Hopefully, it’ll all be worth it and they will each take home substantial prize money, perhaps even the title at LIV Golf League in London.
