A recent statement by R&A Chief Martin Slumber denied the rumors of LIV golfers getting exceptions to participate in the major. Only five players from the league are eligible to play: Cameron Smith, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, and Dustin Johnson.
