Lexi Thompson is a wonderful example of regaining form after a career dip. Although Thompson’s season didn’t get off to the best of starts, she is now back on track. Many players, like Jessica Korda and Michelle Wie West, cheered for Thompson when her shooting video from the Vegas Green went viral. Even golf mommy Paige Spiranac couldn’t help but applaud the 11-time LPGA winner for her entry into the PGA Tour.
The golf diva stated that she cannot think of anyone who is more deserving of this opportunity than her most recent podcast, Playing a Round with Paige. As the wishes poured out from the elite players, the best was yet to come for Thompson. Shriners Hospitals for Children, which looks over the operation of the tournament, specializes in pediatric orthopedics, burn care, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and cleft lip and palate.

It goes without saying that there are plenty of hospitalized children in the audience. And those sweet children gave Thompson a lovely show of solidarity. They adorned the bag of the 28-year-old golfer with positive and inspirational messages. The LPGA tweeted a photo of Thompson’s bag along with the caption, ”A special bag for a historic week! @shrinershosp patients decorated @Lexi‘s bag this week with messages of inspiration and hope as she makes her first @PGATOUR start!”
