“Love you, Mom,” said Tiger Woods as he bid adieu to his “biggest fan,” and “greatest supporter.” Only a few days ago, the GOAT made the heartbreaking announcement that his mother, Kultida Woods, had passed away. Woods described her as “a force of nature,” in his tribute post, something every one of his avid fans would agree with. Everyone knows how big of an impact she had on her son’s career to turn him into the legendary golfer he is known as today.

But for Tiger Woods, the road was far from its final hole, his fire for winning has kept him close to PGA Tour titles. Nearing his shift to the Seniors Tour, the 82x PGAT winner announced that he will be participating in the upcoming Signature event, Torrey Pines, next week. What a moment for the 15x major winner’s return to the course, can’t wait! Some even commented their screams, “DO IT FOR TIDA, TIGER!!!” and “Win for Kultida!!!!!” on the announcement tweet.

Fans are not the only ones excited to see Tiger Woods back in action. A famed journalist joined in on the celebration as she too seemed excited to watch Woods play again. The person in question is Amanda Balionis, the CBS Sports reporter.
