Just one stroke behind the leader, Bryson DeChambeau has solidified his place at T2 after carding 4 under 136 in two rounds of the 124th U.S. Open. The LIV Golf pro has successfully kept himself in close contention for his second U.S. Open silverware and while many struggled to make the cut at Pinehurst No. 2, DeChambeau was in the zone and was rather having a blast!

The 1-time major winner made some incredible birdies and par putts with all the stress Pinehurst afflicted. At the post-match press conference, DeChambeau, as the golf entertainer he has been, was asked what about the sport or the tournament makes it entertaining for the crowd while the golfers struggle. After contemplating, the LIV Golf pro said, “You’re going to have super highs and super lows.”

Then, DeChambeau recalled Sepp Straka’s hole-in-one at the par-3 9th and described it as a “super high” moment from the second day: “It was really cool to feed off that energy.” However, the 1-time major winner then highlighted the plight of the other golfers who struggled to get a hold of Pinehurst No. 2, which a few spectators might not want to see. But for most fans, DeChambeau says, “For the fans it’s great. It’s super entertaining.”
