The PGA Tour pro has suffered from many health conditions in the past, including a knee surgery. However, that did not stop him from taking a comfortable field goal during the practice rounds for the PGA Tour Champions event in St. Louis. The 57-year-old is scheduled to play at the Ascension Charity Classic at the Norwood Hills Country Club in Missouri this week but decided to take a shot at a football career first.

The beloved American golfer was seen on the field, barefoot, taking a shot at a field goal, and making it exactly how he did back in 1992. His penchant for the American sport demonstrates his love for his country with valor. The video is making its rounds across social media platforms. LIV Golf Nation even pointed out in their caption, “How can anyone not love John Daly?”

Although the video was originally shared by the PGA Tour Champions, tagging John Daly in the reels, it has garnered a lot of attention from fan sites and platforms. “He’s still got it,” the OG caption rightfully pointed out, because indeed he does.
