“It is with a heavy but grateful heart, that I want to announce that I’ll be retiring from professional golf at the end of this year,” swinging into sunset, Ally Ewing announced goodbye to professional golf. Her heartfelt retirement announcement ignited a celebration of her remarkable journey. As she steps away from the competitive golf scene, she leaves behind a legacy of triumph, perseverance, and devotion. So, get to know her personal life filled with love and faith.

Ally Ewing was born on October 25, 1992, with golf coursing through her veins. Her remarkable journey began in the charming town of Tupelo, Mississippi. At just 10 years old, she took her first swing. But, little did she know, that innocent start would blossom into a decorated career. With roots firmly planted in faith and family, Ewing rose to success. It was fueled by loved ones and mentors like Stanley Ramey, the course superintendent, who nurtured her talent.

Moreover, this tight-knit support system helped shape the 31-year-old’s unwavering dedication. Among the accolades, she conquered the Mississippi State Amateur not once but twice. The North and South Women’s Amateur also fell under her swing. She’s also a two-time First Team All-American at Mississippi State University. The moment she graduated in 2015, Ewing took the professional leap.

Her T22 finish at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament secured a conditional LPGA Tour card for the 2016 season. Later that year, her standout performance on the Epson Tour sealed the deal. That proved to be the ultimate launchpad for her dreams. She finished second on the money list and officially became an LPGA Tour member. Consequently, four years of perseverance culminated in her maiden LPGA victory at the 2020 LPGA Drive-On Championship in Georgia.
