Will Allisen Corpuz's gear choices give her the edge in the Solheim Cup? What do you think?

With a little over $700,000 in earnings this year, Allisen Corpuz has certainly made her mark in the world of golf. She has been a member of the LPGA Tour since 2022, and her breakthrough season was in 2023 when she won the US Women’s Open. This feat marked her maiden major glory. She is competing in the Solheim Cup this year and is helping Team USA bring the glory back home.

Along with her skills, her golf arsenal is also playing an instrumental role in her performance at the 2024 Solheim Cup. Let’s have a look at Allisen Corpuz’s arsenal, which is sponsored by PING.

Her prowess with the irons was on full display at the Chevron Championship, with her accuracy being a key factor in her impressive 4th-place finish. Costing $185 to $200 per club, it is a popular choice amongst golfers.

Wedges and putters in Corpuz’s bag

Corpuz uses two PING wedges in her bag: the PING s159 wedges with lofts of 54° (S grind) and 58° (B grind). These wedges are paired with Nippon Modus 105 S shafts. Known for their versatility, these are made to play a variety of short game shots, from bunker play to chipping around the greens. She previously used three PING Glide 4.0 wedges, which were a set of 5-degree, 54-degree, and 58-degree wedges. The price is $179 to $199 per wedge.

For her putter, she uses the ever-reliable PING 2021 DS 72, which is renowned for its precision and stability. At a price point of $270 to $300, its mallet design and adjustable length shaft make it versatile equipment. It also features a dual-durometer insert in the face that gives the user more control of the speed. Lastly, she uses the ever-reliable Titleist Pro V1 golf balls, which are a Tour favorite.

With her second appearance at the Solheim Cup, it will be interesting to see how she fares, given the immense potential and talent she has displayed.
