The Team US for the Solheim Cup is decorated with exceptional golfers. From seasoned pros to young players who earned international fame in 2023, the team is a combination of talents of all ages. And for players like Allisen Corpuz, this is the first chance to fulfill their patriotic dreams.

This season, the 25-year-old Hawaiian became a Rolex First-Time Winner at the US Women’s Open. In fact, this was her first win on the Tour. She also made three additional top-five finishes this year. As the young golfer proceeds to the battle in Spain, she has armed herself with elite hardware.

Corpuz is super thrilled about her first Cup and has packed her golf bag well for the event. As she is sponsored by the golf equipment brand Ping, it is no surprise that all her equipment comes from them. For the driver, she uses the Ping G430 LST Driver with a Diamana GT 50 stiff shaft which retails for $600. Its smaller profile head in comparison to other models makes it a perfect fit for golfers with fast swing speeds. Allison is considered among the most accurate drivers on the Tour and thus it is her mightiest weapon.

When it comes to Fairway Woods, she uses two types. First is her Ping G430 Max three-wood which is set at 15.4 degrees loft and the second one she has is in the same model five-wood set at 18.6 degrees. Both kinds of woods come with a Ping Tour AD IZ-g SR shaft.

Her Ping 2021 DS-72 Putter was a big aid for her at Pebble Beach earlier this year. The black model putter costs $200 and is among the best Ping putters and is also preferred by 2023 FedEx Cup play-off star Victor Hovland who is also part of the European Ryder Cup team. Corpuz ranks 34th for putters per GIR and 79th for putting average.

For Hybrid, she depends upon the G410 four-Hybrid (22 degrees) with a Ping Alta CB 70 Slate shaft. This model is a few editions old but can give any new Hybrid a run for their money. And it certainly seems to be working for Corpuz. For her golf balls, she uses the new Titleist Pro V1.

For irons, she counts on the 2023 Ping i230 Irons and uses five down to pitching wedge. All of them come with Nippon Modus 105 stiff shafts. It is a dependable iron that can make shots with a high margin. It offers the golfer a lively and stable feel and retails for $190. Her bag contains the Ping Glide 4.0 Wedges. Allison has a collection of 50, 54, and 58-degree wedges, which too comes with Nippon Modus 3 shafts.

Regarding her first appearance in the upcoming hallowed event, the Hawaiian golfer has said: “Representing the United States is always an honor and I’m excited to go to Spain.” Her first time on the Solheim Cup is under the captaincy of Stacy Lewis and Corpuz is looking forward to it.
