A professional golfer will be incomplete without his caddie. Doing much more than carrying the bag, a caddie can be the voice that helps a player keep a level head. For Scottie Scheffler, who impressed everyone at The Masters – his caddie Ted Scott seems to be an important change in his career.
While their partnership began last year, the caddie-player duo has been extremely successful.

Scheffler and Scott came together in November, starting out with a trial period. They started out with a 63 round at Sea Island, which later turned into a good partnership in 2022. Apart from the Phoenix Open, Scheffler and Scott have won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the WGC Match Play.
While the Phoenix Open was an important win, the Arnold Palmer Invitational ended up confirming a proper elevation in Scheffler’s game. The young PGA Tour icon was winning and seemed like he was going to continue to do so.

Additionally, the focus was on Bubba Watson working with Scott before this. Their partnership was lauded for a deeper connection the two had and caused quite the commotion when they parted ways. The two were together for 12 of Watson’s PGA Tour titles, winning two of them at Augusta National. Scott has also worked with Paul Azinger and Grant Waite.
