In a recent update on Instagram, the PGA Tour posted a clip from the greens in Mexico. In the video, PGA Tour pro Taylor Montgomery is seen taking a shot. The player is surrounded by his team, and as he hits the ball, his group claims that he hit an ace. This is followed by a small celebration and congratulations.

In the clip, Montgomery’s team notes that because of the terrain of the Tiger Woods-designed course, it is difficult to see if he actually made an ace. It is later revealed that he, in fact, did not make a hole-in-one, meaning that they pranked him.

The caption of the video reads: “@TaylorMontgomery22’s group had him believing he made an ace 😲.”
