The PGA Tour tournaments are not an easy competition to win for any young name. Especially when it is already filled with many maestros who have decades of experience under their belt. However, some very talented golfers are showcasing their skills and taking leads at competitions with a wide margin. The PGA Tour has shared an update from the 3M Open where Lee Hodges is leading the event by huge stats.

The tweet says “Last time there were 54-hole leads of 5 strokes or more in back-to-back weeks on TOUR was June 2019 (Chez Reavie/Travelers, Nate Lashley/Rocket Mortgage); Lee Hodges leads the 3M Open by 5 after 54 holes at -20. At last week’s Open Championship, Brian Harman led by 5 thru 54.”

Will Lee Hodges follow the incredible win of Brian Harman after making a similar lead?

Last week Brian Harman made a historic win at the Open Championship. In a course as difficult as Hoylake that has even experienced players wiping their sweat, Harman went on to bag his maiden major victory. According to some people, Brian’s 54 holes at The Open is the biggest by any American after Woods in the year 2000, which consisted of six shots. And now the PGA Tour pro, Lee Hodges who has given an exemplary performance is maintaining the same margin leaving behind players like JT Poston and Tony Finau.
