Spiranac gets into storytime after sharing a heartfelt picture

Paige Spiranac recently shared a picture of her mother on her Instagram story. The black-and-white photograph shows Spiranac’s mother in a swimsuit as she looks away from the camera with a determined look on her face. 

The caption with the photo mentioned how Spiranac and her mom “both grew up wearing leotards and she raised me to feel comfortable in my skin.” Spiranac reminisced the fact that she was never told what she could or could not wear. 

“They only cared about who I was inside and how I treated other people,” she further wrote. She finished her caption off by saying that each of us has our own set of beliefs and a personal style. “Wear what makes you feel confident,” Spiranac’s story complements and backs up what she spoke about in a recent interview.

Spiranac’s caption reads like a message to everyone out there who is being questioned about their personal fashion choices. The 30-year-old former golfer is touching upon social stigma about wearing certain kinds of clothes.

Why does Paige Spiranac wear controversial golfing clothes?

Paige Spiranac recently gave an interview to Sports Illustrated for promoting an energy drink that she is endorsing. In the interview, she explained the background of why she started wearing unconventional outfits during her initial golf days. She also pointed out how she didn’t see a reason to change her ways after a while.

Spiranac was a gymnast before getting into golf. She mentioned that as a gymnast she grew comfortable with wearing revealing outfits as the sport allowed that code. 

The golf beauty also explained how she had financial trouble during her early golf days. She could not afford the expensive traditional golfing attires. This was especially because she needed a whole wardrobe, and there was no way she could pay for that.
