The action exchange in sports is common. Being a space open to spectra of cross-events, yet again, the golf world has stood witness to an unprompted, one-of-a-kind exchange on a football course at a recent Alabama vs Auburn game—with player Oscar Chapman being the center of the scene.

After seeing a gimmick exchange unfold on the court, a 58-year-old golf veteran, who watched the game live from the rails, has made a slight jab at the player’s sporting form. Here’s the complete rundown of all that has unfolded.

At a recent rival play between the Iron Bowl—Alabama vs Auburn, CBS golf analyst Dottie Pepper was seen enjoying the game. The cameras at the Jordan-Hare Stadium captured the golfer on the rails, watching the annual college football game with intent.

Golf with CBS took to their X handle to post about a specific occurrence on the court during the first half of the game. After scoring for his team, player Oscar Chapman celebrated on the court by mimicking the stance of a golfer while swinging. The camera turned to get Pepper’s reaction to this occurrence, who adorned a reaction-less face at that time. The caption of the post read: “Wonder what Dottie Pepper thought of Oscar Chapman’s form on the celebration 😄.”

Pepper, who did not react on camera, later took to her personal X handle and quoted the tweet stating, “His golf form was way better than his “FaceMasked Singer” performance today! 😉,”

Being a veteran in form, it is expected of Pepper to be critical of the gimmick of the game that has gained her all the name. Moreover, the golfer is known for her loyalty and commitment to the game of golf, and her recent feat stands as a testimony to this claim.
