The new brainchild of Tiger Woods has been making a lot of rounds in the news lately as TGL is set to start at the beginning of 2024. His venture with Rory McIlroy is nothing short of an amazing announcement to the golf world as it is also one of the venues through which he would be making a comeback. But nevertheless, the league has been in the spotlight recently for a different reason as the legend saw himself partnering with a giant.

Since the inception of the new league, TGL has seen many sports personalities buying one of the 3 player teams followed by the new investor. Moreover, in a video uploaded not too long ago, the new partner took to the stage to disclose some intriguing facts about the tech-infused league leaving many curious and surprised.

Arthur Blank sheds some light on TGL

The new venture by TMRW Sports saw billionaire Arthur Blank buy one of its teams as it experienced a major spike in cash flow due to the same. And, the CEO of Home Depot had much to say about the tech-focused league as a recent Instagram post was uploaded by the social media handle of the Atlanta TGL team.

In the video, Blank went ahead to talk about how the new league is an opportunity to expand the game of golf when asked about what he saw in the same. Moreover, the new venture would enable bringing in a more diverse audience, especially one at younger ages. Arthur was seen mentioning how “a lot of young folks today are playing games in a variety of new ways through technology,” as he continued with his response.

One of the main objectives of the upcoming league is to expose the sporting world to a newer version of the game of golf that they would ordinarily be. The investor then went ahead to talk about the details of the new league as he explained the current number of teams owned by various individuals or companies including him, the Williams sisters and Alex Ohanian, and the Fenway Group.

The CEO of Home Depot was visibly excited as he referred to the many players taking part in the league. Moreover, the new venture would look to ascertain a sense of parity among the six teams when they are formed.

AMB Sports and Entertainment, owned by Arthur Blank, went ahead to invest in the new tech-focused league as the billionaire partnered with the GOAT of golf. Moreover, the investor managed to secure the rights for a team to represent the state of Atlanta much like his other teams in the NFL and MLS namely Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United respectively.

Woods’ brainchild has left everyone in a lot of anticipation as the TGL hopes to bring in a new version of the game to the sport. Furthermore, the TMRW Sports venture will see teams of three play against each other every Monday in major stadiums in the USA. The game will use life-size simulators to play the game virtually as many top players see themselves roped into the new league.
